The main activity of the firm METAS s.r.o. (Ltd.) is manufacture of fastening and lifting equipment for loads lifted by cranes or hoists. These are manufactured from steel wire ropes, chains and polyester straps. Our main business activities are focused on sale of steel wire ropes yardage of all constructions, offering products from renowned domestic and foreign manufacturers. In the segment of chains we bring to the market products of grade 8 and grade 10 (classes G8 and G10) from prestigious producers. We offer here a wide range of products, but it is necessary to mention also respective components, such as hooks, eyes, links, shackles, etc.

Specialised steel wire ropes are used to substitute standard constructions in operation facilities where especially high quality ropes is required. Lifetime and durability of “specials” are much longer in comparison with standard constructions. The steel core of some constructions is coated with plastic to protect them from inner corrosion, to prevent penetration of impurities or leaking of moisture and keep the lubricant inside the core.
